Cadbury's Wispa Calls For Help in Making an Ad

While reading Metro over someone's shoulder this morning, I was intrigued to see the ad below for Cadbury's Wispa.

I took a note of the url www.fortheloveofwispa.com and had a look when I got to my desk. After the sedate aeroplane chuntered across my screen, I found out the ad and site are aimed at getting fans of Cadbury's Wispa, the re-launched chocolatey treat, to contribute in any way they can to their new ad by the end of November.

This is a good extension of the interest generated by the renaissance of the Wispa, and quite similar to the Monster Munch activity calling for help in finding the monsters from the original 1980s ads.

There is the usual link to the facebook fan site, which in this case boasts over 96,000 fans, although they are missing a trick by not having any mention of the extension to the campaign or the 'For The Love of Wispa' site.

Despite that, I can't get enough of this sort of activity, although I don't have anything I really feel I could lend them.
