Garth Merenghi's Darkplace is, fairly obviously, an affectionate spoof of 1980s science fiction dramas like Quantum Leap. The drama is funny enough, but the interjections from Garth Merenghi and his agent Dean Lerner, as well as other cast members, are golden.
